In preparation for hosting an 8 day yoga retreat I decided to cut out some of the additional excess in my diet in an effort to clean out my system. An already strict, longtime vegetarian with a mild addiction to dairy, I decided to cut out most, if not all of the cheese and gluten in an effort to prep my body for a week of unprocessed, wholesome goodness. After eight days of being served three delicious, mostly raw, vegan meals harvested right from the source, I felt lighter, looked healthier and had an overall amazing radiance!
Traveling back to snowy Colorado after sweating out the excess in Nicaragua, I decided to make a conscious choice to continue to eat this way. Five weeks later, still focusing on a clean, plant based diet I am five pounds lighter and feel great!
